| Description |
Leetsdale area in Allegheny County. This is a Leetsdale Bough access to the Ohio River, launch fee charged. This pool on the Ohio River has produced some of the largest largemouth bass in the Three Rivers area. A boat is required to reach the best fishing. There are no restrictions on the horsepower for this water, but it can be fished easily with a small boat. Other hot spots: - Alcosan discharge, north shore - mile marker 3 (Pittsburgh Pool) - Emsworth Dam, back channel of Neville Island - mile marker 7 to 10 - Dashields Lock & Dam, north shore by mouth Little Sewickley and down river to Big Sewickley - mile marker 13.5 to 15 .5 - Beaver River, mouth (up and down river) - mile marker 25.5 |
